yay! im so glad you liked it! cant wait for the contest results! either way, it was fun to make. very different style for me so i learned a lot! thanks penguin!!!
Well Done!
I have just one complaint, the drums felt a little too much for an ambient piece to me. The volume was perfect, but I think that the rhythm was a bit too much for me.
I absolutely LOVE all of the special effects added in like the water and the sonar. It was AWESOME!
I am very impressed, high grade work right here!
<PS>
Thank you. I was really unsure to begin with what to do with the drums. This was one of many ideas I had. Thank you for your kind words.
Oh Yeah!
PERFECT! I love how this song portays those stars! The twinkle sound and use of the others just fits perfectly! I must say that I am highly impressed with this song! Keep up the amazing work!
<PS>
thank you.
Nice Kerrie!
I like this song a whole lot! I can see your style in this, though I don't know enough about kazmo to say that I can see his style in there. My only complaint is the use of what I think is a square lead. It sounds to "Mario-ish" for this song if you ask me. And if you don't know which one I am talking about, it's the sound that keeps sounding on beats one and two every measure or so.
I do like how you two brought out the most of this song, and the ending was pretty neat too. Keep up the amazing work!
<PS>
<3 we just did this in a day basically lol. just thought it was fun. we are talking about redoing and finishing it! it will be badass adn less cheesy and mario-ish! thanks for the listen!
I love that jazz!
First of all, this song deserves more that the 2.87 it had before I voted (which made it a 3.18). Also, change the genre to Jazz ASAP!!!!
Now for imporvements, I recomend adding some nice improv solos in the middle inbetween te main melodies. And then I would take all of that non-melody stuff and use it as backgrounds during the solos which should be at least two forms long each. That would help this song a lot. And at the ending, take what you have and ADD the trumpet playing the lick up an octave after the rest play it first. If you need a better idea of what I mean listen to some profesional combo jazz or the like and see what they do.
Also, 0:36 to about 0:54 would be good for backgrounds (as mentioned earlier).
<PS>
Pretty well done.
I love the fountain of dreams! And to all of those below me, this really is called "Fountain of Dreams". In all of the Kirby Games (except for superstar) this song only appears on the fountain of dreams stages and is even titled as such on certain games with sound check and what not. In superstar it is titled Gourmet Race, but it has a different feel to it than fountain of dreams.
Now for the song review.
I like the overall layout of the song. It isn't anything to get over excited about though. The sounds all sound the same, and the ending is pretty bad. Also, the beginning was very abrupt. Also, it sounded pretty repetitive. If the sounds changed some more, that might make it sound less so. Considering that this is a techno song and not trance, I can't say bad about the sounds used.
I think you did a good job on this song, though I bet if you put some more time into it, you could create a better begging and end, which would be very helpful.

So Soothing
Man, there is something about this song that I just love. It's soothing, comforting, relaxing, it's perfect. Keep up the awesome work!

Nice!
I heard this version right after the demo, and this is wonderful.
Here's what I recomend.
Try submiting a Techno and an Ambient version of this. It would be pretty interesting to see that. But if you were to keep this song like this version, you should make the transition smoother. Also, let the last note ring for a while instead of just cutting it off, that took away a lot.
Still, I really like this song!
<PS>
Sweet!
Sounds great! And I think the genre is more of a Misc. because of all that it could fit into. If it weren't for the drums, I would have said Ambient though.
Great song!
<PS>
glad you liked it..thanks for the review!
