I must say, you painted the picture perfectly. I can see this is a video game for sure!

Now for some criticism.

It is repetitive, but that's okay! It is a loop, and they are supposed to be repetitive. However, in order to be interesting there has to be things changeing in the background, sounds, harmonization, and melody, and you did just that! So kudos in that regard!

Now, this is a loop. That means that the begining and the end need to meet up, which they dont on this track. The fade in the melody at the end is not characteristic of a great loop. Plus, there was about half a beat missing in the last measure that completely throws off the groove entirely! You turned the last 4/4 bar into a 7/8 or some sort of 15/16 bar. Either way, it feels like it missed the last touch to lead back into the begining and that is probably because the audio cut off just a tad too early. Please fix that!

I found this loop very enjoyable, but it had one technical problem and it didn't quite hit that spot.

Not classical! But very good!

First of all, I have to bug you on the fact that this is not classical. Classical uses orchestral instuments. This is using electronic sounds and pads, which usually goes under ambient, techno, dance, etc. To be specific, I would put this under ambient because of the atmosphere that is created and the floating feeling.

I must say that I am very happy that I came across this song! I love the overall flow and relaxing feel that there is in this. I do wish that there was a little more change in the volume, but that's okay.

I don't have much to say about this song, but there is one thing that I can recomend. There were points where I was dying to hear the background chords change (like around 3:40), but they didn't! Moments like 1:41 had a completly amazing sound to it. I belive that it was because actual chords were being used instead of octaves. The ending was good as well, but the octaves sort of left me wanting more. I felt like that within all of those octaves, some hints of the chord would be wonderful. Octaves are great, don't get me wrong!

Now for the title, I can see where you are coming from on this. However, I think that "Mothership" would be more appropriate than "Starship". This song has a feeling of comfort, love, and care; qualities of a mother. But the space idea fits perfectly. I can even see this being used in the background of a video of jellyfish that glow and light up, like aliens!

Good job, and keep writing!

I'm glad you liked it! I do agree, the volume does not change...I accidentally set my keyboard settings to play each note at full volume only. I'll most likely go back and change a few things with this song; probably add more instruments like a orchestra and change a few of the chords...thanks for insight...peace.

Nice.

I actually liked this song quite a bit. There was mainly one part about it that I didn't like. At times like 2:50 and 0:30 the beat sounded like it the program had messed up on that part due to the fact that you squeezed like 10 hits in less than one beat. I recomend keeping the bass drum beat very clean. I did like the fact that it changed! That was very refreshing! Oh, the overall song sounded pretty repetitive to me. If you could add another melody or instrument/sound to be used, I think that would really help.

I agree with NeonProject.

First I must say, I really like the ideas flowing through this music! However, it is not classical. I do feel like it belongs in the Misc. genre because it sounds like several genres meshed together. I hear classical, ambient, house, industrial, punk, and more all from this song!

Also, I don't feel "seduction" form this music. It sounds to painful to be seduction, which is more lighthearted than this.

I think you should spend more time with titles!

Your music has a very defined feel to it, and it's starting to rub off on me. I must say that I quite enjoy the chaos in this one. It has that feeling of confusion without the sound of ameture randomness.

At around 2:15 you added the much needed bass, and it needs to be used SO MUCH MORE. The bass gives the nice full sound that music needs and would help to improve your music a lot!

Oh, and the title still doesn't match the music at all!

Keep up the work, you got great ideas flowing.

Nice.

I like what you have going on here. It has a very unique feel to it. Al though, it really does need to be shortened to be considered a loop. Although, it does change, so I would get rid of a lot of the repeated material. I also feel that the title didn't quite fit the mood of the song. I didn't feel like some one was telling it to my face like the title "Believe IT" suggests. It felt more like a song you would hear in a video game. On that note, this song would be perfect in that sense for a made boss fight. and would not need the editing as stated above.

Now to some more personal stuff. I didn't like how it all sounded loud the entire time. I prefer to listen to music that has dynamic contrast. I love to here the louds AND the softs, and that that goes in between. This song didn't quite hit the right spot for me either.

This is a good song, don't get me wrong, I just think that improvements would be highly benificial.

I must say, this brings percusion to a whole new point as far as I am concerned. I have never heard such clever and smart use of pots and pans before. They fit perfectly!

It has an excelent feel and groove, and as far as I can tell it is flawless.

Great job! You sure are making a name for yourself!
