Yay Pentatonics!

I love the feel to this song. It has a soundtrack tone to it that I personaly like. I can see someone talking to their kung-fu master at the Great Wall of China speaking of something. I can't tell what though, because they speak Chinese! I love the realaxing feel to it as well!

There is a lot of underappreciation for this style of music.

Oh yeah, I love the use of the pentatonic scale in this song! For all of those reading this, major and minor pentatonic scalesare the basis of eastern music while western is based of of major and minor scales with seven notes.

Good luck! I'll see you in the finals!

Yay for Music theory! :D
I was aiming a bit for the soundtrack feel, especially in some of the heavier parts of the song.

I'm glad that you're appreciating it. ^_^ <3

You know, I completely didn't think about the pentatonic scale that I was using in writing this. But now that you mention it, very true. This does fit that scale and I definitely make a good use of that scale. I'm glad you recognized it! :D

Good! But...

Hmm...I wanted to give this a higher score, but I couldn't. It sounds very nice and has wonderful variations, yes. However, it sounds very repetitive and a bit too empty at times for me. And some of the sounds are a bit, displeasing. This is of course to my taste though. It definately sounds italian, that's for sure! I just think, well, that it could have been better. It is really good, don't get me wrong. I just think that more could have been done.

Good luck to you, though! I am in it as well.

Ok I respect that lol

thanks 4 the review!!

SWEET!

This is so awesome! I don't know what else to say! It makes me feel worried about my chances in the contest though. Italy and Isreal both start with the letter i. That was random. Other than that though, our entries are completly different.

You got some-a spicy a-skillz here!

awww <3 for penguin! thanks so much for the listen and review! your song has song awesome elements as well! it will be fun to see how things turn out. i have to get past the semi final round first though;)

Love it!

I could easily see this in a movie or children's TV show or something!

Very well writen. This goes to show that it isn't the time in the music, but the music in the time (or something that means that length doesn't always mean better).

Keep up this awesome music!

<PS>

I like it!

I like the feeling that is desplayed by this song! It really does make me think of a subway! It was pretty repetitive though, which got boring very quickly. I must say that this is a nice piece you got here. Keep up the good work!

Like which part? The sax? I'm going to notate that out anyways just for my own playing :D

Very Nice!!!!

I do like this, very much!

My only real complaint is the begining made it sound very choppy, the notes ended too suddenly.

Other than that, it was awesome!

Keep it up!

Again!

You got top of the week, again! You are truely a great composer to have done that with 3 out of 4 songs!

And there is something about this that just rocks, really well.

UDABEST!

ZooSafari responds:

No, UDABEST! ;D

Much love PenguSam! ^_-

Lovely!

Now this is what I call a loop! By far one of the best that I have heard. Kudos!

SolusLunes responds:

Glad you liked it! :D

Yeah!

I love how jazzy this sounds! And I can easily see this on Brawl, so well done!

I am a young composer living in the United States. Most of my music is slow, lyrical, dark, emotional, and programatic. I however am a very upbeat and happy person. Quite the interesting contrast, isn't it?
